"Before lo-fi became the de rigueur recording medium for potential rock and roll movers and shakers there existed plenty of practitioners but very few legends. For every Guided By Voices that broke through there were at least a hundred and thirty bands that no one ever heard of. We were one of those bands. With no money but plenty of desire we recorded by any means necessary on whatever equipment was available. Here's the best of our lo-fi stuff. If we could do it so could anybody. History will write itself if you let it. Why not write your own chapter and soundtrack?"
